TThe Maruti Zen is a hot favorite both in Nepal and the world. Called the Suzuki Alto overseas, it is exported to 40 countries worldwide. It has a 993 cc, lightweight all-aluminum 4-cylinder, water-cooled SOHC engine, and can generate a maximum power of 50 bhp @ 6500 rpm.

Its minimum turning radius of 4.9 metres makes driving easy even in congested areas. The vehicle is not Euro II complaint, though it does comply with the Euro I norms.

It has a plush interior furnished with fabric upholstery. On the whole, the Zen combines a quiet drive with fuel efficiency and consistency.
